Community Standards
Last updated: July 2026
Gambit is designed around tension, strategy, and a little trash talk. These standards exist to make sure the competition stays fun and the league stays intact from Week 1 through the playoffs.
Fair Play
The one-start rule is the whole game. Playing with integrity means making your own decisions — independently, for your own team.
- ▪No collusion. Any arrangement between teams to coordinate burns, throw matchups, or manipulate standings is prohibited and grounds for removal from the league.
- ▪One account per person. Running multiple teams in the same league through separate accounts is a Terms of Service violation and results in immediate account termination.
- ▪No automation. Lineups must be set by a human. Bots or scripts that interact with the Service on your behalf are not permitted.
Commissioner Responsibilities
Commissioners set the tone. With that comes responsibility:
- ▪Configure league settings before the season — scoring format, roster slots, playoff structure — because they cannot be changed once the season starts.
- ▪Apply the League Rules consistently and in good faith, including when your own team is involved in a dispute.
- ▪Use commissioner tools — member removal, settings adjustments — for league management, not personal competitive advantage. Abuse of commissioner powers is a violation of our Terms of Service.
- ▪Step in when conduct in chat crosses the line. You can remove members whose behavior ruins the experience for others.
Chat and Conduct
In-app chat is for the things that make a fantasy league actually fun: predictions, trash talk, postgame reactions, and the occasional GIF. Keep it competitive — not personal.
The following are not welcome on Gambit and may result in account suspension:
- ▪Harassment, personal attacks, or targeted abuse directed at another user
- ▪Hate speech or content that demeans people based on identity
- ▪Threats, whether direct or implied
- ▪Sharing another person's private information without consent
- ▪Spam or commercial solicitation
Reporting Issues
If someone in your league is making the experience hostile, use the in-app report tool or email us at legal@gambitfantasy.app. Include your league ID and a description of what happened. We investigate all reports and take action when warranted.
Commissioners who are part of the conduct problem — rather than the solution — can be reported the same way.
Account Controls
- ▪Notifications: manage push and email notification preferences in your account settings. You can reduce or disable alerts without affecting your lineup submission capability.
- ▪Leaving a league: you can leave a league from your account settings at any time. Your burned players and scores remain in the historical record.
- ▪Deleting your account: available in account settings. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data after deletion.
